Port Perry Town & Country House Tour 2010 |
The Port Perry Town & Country House Tour, founded in 2009 by Community Outreach is a charitable event with all proceeds supporting three very important local organizations -- Durham Youth Housing and Support Services, Community Care Durham and YWCA Durham's Second Stage Housing for Women. The 2nd annual event is planned for Saturday, September 25, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Tickets are $20 each and can be purchased through Port Perry United Church (294 Queen Street, Port Perry). Each ticket includes a stop at the church where the House Tour Café will be serving light refreshments throughout the day.

On July 29, Home Depot staff from across Southern Ontario gathered at YWCA Durham to lend a hand. Team Depot volunteers spent the day painting and working to brighten the halls of the Supportive Housing Program at 55 McGrigor and our Second Stage Program at 33 McGrigor.

The YWCA Durham was thrilled to receive confirmation that a grant of $25,000 in support of their Second Stage Housing program is being awarded by the Canadian Women’s Foundation (CWF) as part of their Rebuilding Lives granting initiative.
