Transitional & Crisis Care/ Outreach support services
The Transition Housing Support Program offers flexible services to women as they establish new lives, free from abuse for themselves and their families. Services are available to women residing in the shelter or in the community. Services include:
- safety planning
- assistance in obtaining and maintaining affordable housing
- advocacy with community agencies
- follow-up counselling and support
- support groups for women
The Crisis Care Outreach Program provides support to women in the community who have left or are leaving an abusive relationship. Services include:
- safety planning
- short-term counselling
- advocacy with other agencies including legal services, housing and children's services
- information and referrals
- court appointment and advocacy
